The Mission MPT was created from the clearly enunciated desires of many US military units which wanted a light weight, high strength, non-magnetic, non-corrosive titanium bladed knife --- but one with a more compact and thinner silhouette, and with a "higher speed & lower drag coefficient" than our popular U.S. Navy MPK. The blade has a distinctive false edge that can
be readily sharpened. Notice the choil and ergonomic hilt which can easily be shifted into an aggressive grip style needed to meet any challenge. The angled thumb ramp naturally places the thumb in a comfortable and blade controlling position. Complementing the handle is the large guard that ensures the user's hand will consistently stay on the hilt and not slip forward onto the blade. The butt of the hilt allows maximum grip in any position. A low profile hytrel sheath is added.
